Voted the "best local French restaurant" in the UK by the Gordon Ramsey TV series 'The F word'. Bouchon Bistrot is located in Hexham and serves outstanding French country style food. You can get pre-theatre, early bird, and รก la carte meals. Service is always excellent and non-pretentious. Carts Bog Inn
The Carts Bog Inn at Langley is a traditional country pub dating back to 1775. It is renowned throughout the region for its fine food, exceptional range of ales and stunning panoramic views. High beamed ceilings and a traditional stone fireplace create a genuine rural feel. The name Carts Bog is believed to have come about after carts carrying minerals from the Alston Lead and Silver mines would get stuck in local bogs.
